Our knitwear re-dressing & repair service costs £29 per garment - this includes minor repairs.

This is a premium knitwear care service. We accept any brand and any label, as long as it's knitwear, and one of the following fibres;

Cashmere Knitwear Repairs, Cashmere Repair Service

  • Cashmere
  • Cashmere mixes
  • Lambswool (including Geelong & Merino)

We do not accept;

  • Silk
  • Acrylic
  • Alpaca
  • Angora
  • Other man-made fibres

If your garment requires a major repair, please Contact Us first to discuss the options available. See our FAQ's page in order to determine if your repairs are major.

    Once received, your garment will be;

    1. Examined for faults (i.e. holes, drags and other defects)Cashmere Repair Service <> Examined for Faults
    2. Minor repairs carried out (Small holes, drags, dropped stitches and other small defects)
    3. Professionally washed using our specialist detergent and softener
    4. Stains removed using our industrial strength stain removers
    5. Steam pressed to shape
    6. Missing buttons replaced (extra charges may apply)
    7. Re-examined for further faults and defects
    8. De-pilled (Removal of bobbles)
    9. De-fuzzed (Removal of excess fibres)
    10. Folded in tissue paper, and sealed in one of our production bags with one of our Cedar Blocks
    11. Packaged in a box and sent back to your door by courier

    We pride ourselves on being able to complete all work and dispatch your knitwear garments back to you within 2 weeks of receiving them.

    Please follow these steps to send your knitwear garment to be re-dressed & repaired:

    1. Place your order by adding one 'Knitwear Re-Dress & Repair Service' per garment to your shopping bag (Please note - total quantity should be equal to the number of garments you are sending to us!)
    2. Complete checkout by processing your payment securely via PayPal
    3. Print off your PayPal payment confirmation that is sent to the e-mail address you provide during checkout
    4. Parcel up your cashmere garment(s) along with a copy of your PayPal confirmation
    5. Send your garment back to us via Royal Mail or equivalent. Our address is on our website (Please note - you will need to pay for the postage to us and make sure you acquire adequate insurance for your garment when you are sending it to us!)
